About High Lifter Pumps The High Lifter is a powerful water pump designed to move water uphill without using gasoline or electricity. By harnessing the energy from a head of water, the High Lifter pump drives a portion of this water uphill. Pistons provide the pumping action and water is the only lubricant used. It is self-starting and requires no lubrication, priming or tuning and it is extremely quiet. The High Lifter is an efficient, economical and untroublesome way to handle many water pumping requirements. Ideally suited for hilly and mountainous terrain, it is lightweight, quiet, easy to install and capable of extreme lifts with low inlet flows. Simply place the inlet in a stream or other water source, run a pipe downhill to get appropriate fall and start pumping! Designed to be installed and maintained by the user (with basic household tools), the High Lifter requires little attention for years of hard working service. A High Lifter can operate continuously for 1-3 years between seal replacement service. As illustrated in the performance graphs below, the High Lifter responds to both inlet and output pressure. Because the High Lifter utilizes inlet water pressure to pump water, increased inlet pressure yields greater delivery. Conversely, reducing the output pressure puts less load on the pump, allowing more water to be pumped. |

Some of the many benefits of the High Lifter: |
Self-starting:
|
Broad Operating Range:
Your H44 can pump up to 1,500 gallons per day. It can also perform efficiently with as little as one quart per minute inlet flow. |
Versatile Regulation:
Inlet, outlet, or exhaust flow can each be used to regulate the performance of the High Lifter. |
Changeable Ratio: You can easily change the operating ratio of the High Lifter. |
Easy to Install: No special tools or skills are required. |
Easy to Maintain:
The High Lifter is designed for easy maintenance by the user. |
Long Life: Parts are made of stainless, TFE, and acrylic. The High Lifters are built to operate for years with minimal attention. |
Portable: You can easily move the High Lifter to a new location. |
Safe for Drinking Water: All High Lifter parts are completely non-toxic. |
Quiet: The High Lifter is quieter than most other pumps. |
High Lifter Water Systems offers a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
High Lifter H44 & H49
H44 & H49: The 2"
High Lifter pump is designed for applications of up to 750 (H49) - 1500 (H44) gallons per
day of pumped water. These situations are typically homestead drinking water, garden
irrigation water, water for grazing cattle, etc. All that is required is a source of water
with at least one quart per minute flow, such as a spring, creek or pond and a place to
locate the pump at a lower elevation than the source. Used in multiples of two or more,
these pumps are often suitable for domestic water for small communities or larger gardens.
Filter is supplied with pump. See performance chart at right.

High Lifter H74
H74: The H74 is a large
version of the High Lifter that can pump up to 50,000 gallons per day. See performance
chart at right. Your energy savings could add up to several thousands of dollars a year
with the H74. If your inlet pressure is 60 psi, your annual energy savings could be
approximately $2,000 compared to pumps using $1.12/gallon diesel fuel or 10¢/kWh
electricity. Check out this Annual Energy Cost Savings
Chart For pumps operating continuously at full capacity. (This pump is available by special order only.)
